Gowanbrae Bed and Breakfast is a lovely Victorian house situated near the centre of Dufftown and close to all the local amenities.

We moved to Dufftown September 2016 after falling in love with the house and Dufftown on our first visit and having the added benefit of these fine whisky distilleries in the local vicinity only makes it all the more enjoyable.

Steve and Jo invite you to share another season in our newly decorated home. We also have Artois the cat with us.

All our rooms are en-suite and we are able to offer either a double room or twin (2 x Single Beds). From 2023 we are introducing a minimum 2

All rooms have the benefit of en-suite shower rooms, freeview tv’s with in built DVD players, USB ports and in-room refreshments. Wifi is available throughout the property. Courtesy of our Cat!!. We have a residents lounge where there is a small DVD collection if you would like to watch a film or listen to some music.

The Garden (slightly overgrown currently) is a project that will take some time, but with the greenhouse we hope to carry on making our well received chilli jam. Jo also makes the jams and marmalade for the breakfast menu.

We request that our guests do not smoke whilst on the property and due to Artois we regret that we cannot accept dogs.

Motorcyclist and cyclists are catered for as have off-road parking in our garage and paved area at the back of the property. Steve also has another project (4 Year) to restore a 1963 BSA motorbike which has finally been completed. No off road parking for cars but there is plenty of on road parking outside the property on Church Street.
